Meet one of our new brands
Here are one of the new brands, that CPH kids proudly presents on the Autumn/Winter fair in February 31.1 – 2.2. 2013. We are very happy and exited.
NZA New Zealand Auckland
This brand is founded on a concept in which the cultural heritage and diverse natural riches of New Zealand are translated into an incomparable lifestyle brand.
In an almost impossible short time the concept has grown out to become a solid and internationally expanding lifestyle experience.

The adventurous characters that typify New Zealand combined with its deeply rooted culture heritage makes it a constant source of inspiration for our styling and graphics.

CPH kids for a healthy and fashionable childhood
By Bianca Wessel from Little Scandinavian
During the fair we get to meet a lot of buyers from from Scandinavia and around the world, visiting the Fashion Capital for inspiration. We talked to one lovely buyer from Slovenia, Urška from the MIKA online shop.

Name: Urška Janežič
Company: MIKA.si, online shop based in Slovenia selling children’s fashion for age group 0-12 years old. Fashion brands include Phister & Philina, Småfolk, DUNS Sweden, Maxomorra and Racoon.
Urska told us that this was her first time at CPH kids, and we were keen to find out what her experience so far was.
Tell us, what is the best thing about the fair?
Meeting the famous blogger and of course it also gives me information about what’s going on in the field of children’s fashion. In particular Scandinavian children’s fashion that I love and sell in my shop like, Småfolk, Ubang and Green Cotton. I also noticed How to Kiss a Frog and Mini A Ture have again managed to create some really beautiful and chic collections.
It’s great being introduced to new brands as well as the ones I already stock. Some new brands at CPH kids that caught my eye; Ziestha, Kulör Petit and by Sofie Schnoor.
And lastly, have you managed to see anything of Copenhagen in-between buying and trade shows?
Copenhagen is one of my favourite cities, so I would recommend a visit to everybody who enjoyed Scandinavian style, especially the beautiful architecture, their impeccable taste for fashion and design. CPH kids is one of those fairs, where all this is put together, with additional care for the children and for a healthy and fashionable childhood.
I see a lot of brands sticking to their long time philosophy but adding details like eye-catching prints, beautiful colours and higher quality materials.
Thank you for your views and we are looking forward to welcoming you at CPH kids again!
CPH kids August 2012 exhibitors Urban Elk
Danish childrens’ brand Urban Elk, who – as we speak – are exhibiting in flying colours at CPH kids, have created a brand-new way of going business.
Back in 2008 Urban Elk entered into a partnership with the Japanese company Itochu, profiting of of having their clothes and designs of Scandinavian simplicity and high quality manufactured and distributed in several Asian countries. Urban Elk and their Japanese partners work according to license business agreements with different industries and according to agreements with other branch companies, thereby bringing royality proceeds for Urban Elk.
As founder Pouline Kiertner points out, this has opened the door to a major area of potential growth. The possibilities can prove endless when looking ahead.
Kudos!
