MINI A TURE

There’s a new brand on the blog – our blog, that is, and at our forthcoming fashion fair.

MINI A TURE is a special brand of children’s wear founded in Copenhagen, but sold in a raft of high-end stores all over Europe (as well as in Japan) since its start in 2001.

Design manager Anne Katrine Lemvigh Montag puts, along with the rest of the team, great emphasis on producing high quality clothes to match children’s need to move and jump around freely, allowing them to be both comfortable and happy. ‘Children’s wear should be like children, playful, vibrant, refreshingly new and regardless of what’s in Vogue.’

The materials used bear witness to their dedication to both children and their parents; all outerwear clothes are tested breathable, water- and windproof, and even have dirt-repelling coating – while it’s completely machine-washable!  The collections are cleverly divided into age  groups, in styles, materials and functionality that fit just that. In the ‘Baby’ collection (age 0-1½) you will find teensy-weensy and comfortable body stockings and pull-over vests, that proves their flair for whimsical colour coordination. The ‘Mini’ collection from 6 months-4 year olds is filled with colors, stripes and polka dots, yet still practical for both indoors and outdoors. The ‘Kids’ collection ranges from 3-10 year olds and is a bit more fashionable, with special details and imaginative prints on their raincoats, dresses etc.

MINI A TURE produces 4 collections a year, so we’re not just talking the usual Autumn/Winter and Spring/Summer collections, but also an adorable Christmas collection in exquisitely soft and warm wool knits as well as a High Summer collection that sets its sights on a even more international appeal. All of which are done with signature playfulness and a quirky sense of humour.
